R-81-405 - 8/27/1981WHEREAS, the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division has grant
funds available to Cities for various projects, and
WHEREAS, there is a need for a juvenile officer in the City of Round
Rock, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to make application for a grant to
provide financial assistance for the continuation of a juvenile officer,
Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to make the necessary
applications for a grant from the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice
Division to establish a juvenile officer, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that if the application is approved and the
grant is received, the City will continue the funding of the juvenile offices
upon expiration of the grant.
