CONSULTING ENGINEERS 2115 North Mays Round Rock , Texas 78684 (512) 255 -4564, 255 -7861 The Honorable Larry L. Tonn Mayor of Round Rock City of Round Rock 214 E. Re: 1980 Capital Improvements Program Street & Drainage Improvements Dear Mayor Tonn: We would like to respectfully request approval of an amendment to our Engineering Contract on the 1980 C.I.P. - Street and Drainage Improvements pertaining to our hourly rate schedule. The hourly rate schedule is used to determine compensation to the engineer for special services not included in the basic percentage charges. Such services are listed in Paragraph D of our Engineering Contract with the City of Round Rock and cover such items as easement descriptions, construction staking, etc. The existing hourly rate schedule in this Engineering Agreement is four (4) years old. We have understandably experienced increases in our hourly rate schedule over a period of four (4) years and are presently handling several of the City of Round Rock projects based on our most recent hourly rate schedule. This request will substitute our most recent hourly rate schedule (June 1981) to be used on the remainder of the Street and Drainage Improvement Project. No back charges will be made for this project on other hourly work for which we have already been paid; only on future billings. The "old" and new hourly rate schedules are attached for your review. If the City Council approves of this amendment, please sign in the spaces provided below on the original and the attached copy and return one to our office. Page 2 The Honorable Larry L.
