R-82-452 - 5/21/1982TEXAS RESOLUTION NO. WHEREAS, drainage problems have been experienced in the Rubio Subdivision, and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to take affirmative action to improve the drainage situation, Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to inform the owners and /or developers of the South Gate Shopping Center that no Certificates Of Occupancy will be issued for any buildings under construction until such time that the shopping center's completed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the citizens and land owners in the Rubio Subdivi- sion area are encouraged to grant the necessary easements to allow the City access to begin channelling and other drainage improvements, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to expend funds in compliance with Section 8.09 of the City Charter, to prepare plans and specifications where necessary, and to begin the preparation of the ordinances to authorize any necessary budget amendments to provide funds for the following drainage improvements: Channelization of the Rubio Area $15,000 RESOLVED this 21st day of May, EST: • 1 /UL Jii LAND, Ci y Secretary 4 0ZI2. drainage improvements are Li L.
