R-85-668 - 1/10/1985RESOLUTION NO. 60 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 290R the City Council authorized the creation of the Round Rock Industrial Development Corporation ( "IDC "), and WHEREAS, the IDC was authorized on behalf of the City to act for the specific public purpose of the promotion and development of commercial, industrial and manufacturing enterprises to promote and encourage employment and the public welfare, and WHEREAS, the IDC has collected fees from applicants for industrial development bonds and now has in excess of $25,600.00 on account, and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the IDC, in cooperation with the City and the Industrial Development Committee of the Chamber of Commerce participated in a convention devoted to industrial locators, and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the IDC recommended the expenditure of IDC funds to help pay for the cost of participating in the convention, Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS That the Board of Directors of the IDC is hereby authorized to make expenditures of up to $5,052.91 for participation in the industrial locators convention.
