Dear Mayor Robinson:
Transmitted herewith is the approved Federal -Aid Urban System and Urban Area
Boundary Map for Round Rock developed in cooperation with your office. You
will notice that the Urban Systems are "shown with the necessary rural
Federal -Aid Systems to properly integrate each route by connecting it to
another Federal -Aid route. The Federal -Aid Urban System becomes the
Federal -Aid Secondary System at the Urban Area Boundary (1980 City Limits as a
minimum).
Approval of the attached map through this Department and the Federal Highway
Administration makes the urban system eligible for federal funds as they
become available. No new funds are expected until the present program which
goes through 1986 is reviewed by the Federal funding source.
Your cooperation in developing this Urban System and Urban Area Boundary Map
is appreciated and trust you will contact this office if we can provide
additional assistance.
