BOX 2088 AUSTIN, TEXAS 78768 (812) 476.4716 Dear Mr. Huey: We are pleased to have the opportunity to represent the City of Round Rock in the analysis and negotiation of the proposed City Hall Complex to be located in downtown Round Rock. As we have previously indicated, our fees for this representation will be billed at our hourly rates in effect at the time the services are rendered. The current hourly rates for these services are $125.00 per hour for Mark Sidman and $50.00 per hour for Martha Minor Waitkus. In addition, time will be incurred by Bob Reetz of Hilgers & Watkins who is a C.P.A. /Attorney and who will be developing the economic projections necessary for the City to make an informed decision from an economic perspective. You will also be responsible for all costs associ- ated with the matter including copying and document prepar- ation, long distance telephone charges, mileage and similar costs. We will bill you on a monthly basis as fees and expenses are incurred. We also reserve the right to withdraw from representation in the event any fees or expenses are not paid when billed. Our services will include negotiations with the developer, developing economic comparisons for the City, and drafting of all documents necessary to effect the City's decision. This process will be accomplished in the following steps: 1. Review of Developer's Proposal. 2. Meet with City and Developer to clarify issues. 3. Analyze the economics of the transaction through computer generated models. Mr. Sam Huey July 25, 1985 Page 2 We have presently completed the first stages of this schedule, having met with the City, reviewed the propo- sal, met with the Developer and developed rough economic pro- jections, and look forward to assisting you with the remain- ing work. Once again, we are very pleased to have been selected by the City to assist in this development and look forward to continuing our relationship.
