Dear Mr. Huey:
We are pleased to have the opportunity to represent
the City of Round Rock in the analysis and negotiation of the
proposed City Hall Complex to be located in downtown Round
Rock.
As we have previously indicated, our fees for this
representation will be billed at our hourly rates in effect
at the time the services are rendered. The current hourly
rates for these services are $125.00 per hour for Mark Sidman
and $50.00 per hour for Martha Minor Waitkus. In addition,
time will be incurred by Bob Reetz of Hilgers & Watkins who
is a C.P.A. /Attorney and who will be developing the economic
projections necessary for the City to make an informed
decision from an economic perspective.
You will also be responsible for all costs associ-
ated with the matter including copying and document prepar-
ation, long distance telephone charges, mileage and similar
costs. We will bill you on a monthly basis as fees and
expenses are incurred. We also reserve the right to withdraw
from representation in the event any fees or expenses are not
paid when billed.
Our services will include negotiations with the
developer, developing economic comparisons for the City, and
drafting of all documents necessary to effect the City's
decision. This process will be accomplished in the following
steps:
1. Review of Developer's Proposal.
2. Meet with City and Developer to clarify
issues.
3. Analyze the economics of the transaction
through computer generated models.
