Wastewater Plan; and
WHEREAS, Professional engineering services are required in connection
with the revision of said Plan;, and
WHEREAS, Haynie & Kallman, Inc., has submitted a proposed agreement
to provide the required engineering services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enter into said agreement with
Haynie & Kallman, Inc., Now Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS
That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf
of the City of Round Rock a letter agreement for engineering services with
Haynie & Kallman, Inc., a copy of said agreement being attached hereto and
incorporated herein for all purposes.

Re: Master Water & Wastewater Plan
1985 Revision
Project No. 103 -1040
Pursuant to your request, we are submitting our proposal
to the City of Round Rock for preparation of a Master Water
and Wastewater Plan - 1985 Revision. The Plan will incorpo-
rate a planning period of approximately 10 years. The Plan
will include a geographical area based on updated anticipated
population distribution, including areas to the west of Round
Rock, as prepared by City Staff. The scope of work is listed
as follows:
WATER PLAN
1. Analyze existing major facilities, including water sup-
ply, ground storage, booster pump stations, elevated
storage and distribution system (8" lines and larger).
2. Sizing recommendations and priorities for additional
major facilities to assist in updating the City of Round
Rock Urban Services Plan.
3. Computer analysis of arterial water lines (8" and
larger) to assist in sizing and locating proposed lines.
Assistance in getting the program up on the City's com-
puter as required.
4. Preliminary cost estimates for the first 5 years of the
planning period.

WASTEWATER PLAN
1. Sizing recommendations and priorities for additional
major facilities to assist in updating the City of Round
Rock Urban Service Plan.
2. Consideration of the Brushy Creek WC & ID Regional
Wastewater Treatment Facility in the overall planning
for this study.
3. Preliminary cost estimates for the first 5 years of the
planning period.
The Master Plan will be bound and will include pertinent
text and exhibits. We will provide one (1) set of mylar
sepias of the exhibits to the City after completion of the
Plan. We will provide the City with 20 copies of the "final"
Master Plan, after your office has commented on a "draft"
copy of the Plan. As we discussed, we will look at including
color on certain exhibits to add to their affect.
We will provide the above listed services based on the
attached August 1, 1985 Hourly Rate Schedule, in an amount
not to exceed $25,000. We will complete these services with-
in 90 days after the date of your authorization below, exclu-
sive of City review time.
Please sign both counterpart originals of this letter
and return one to our office. Please retain the other for
your files. We appreciate the opportunity to provide these
services for the City of Round Rock.
