Stendeback of the City of Round Rock Planning Department
regarding the progress of the City Hall Municipal Complex in
downtown Round Rock, Albion Property Corporation, on behalf of

the Round Rock City Council:
In order to facilitate the construction of the City Hall
Municipal Complex, we request that a license agreement be
structured between the City of Round Rock and Round Rock Partners
for a period of ninety -nine (99) years in order to incorporate
the alley within Block 10, Original Plat of Round Rock (bounded
by Main Street, Sheppard Street, Bagdad Street and Lampasas
Street) into a functional segment of the overall project.
The area requested to be licensed includes the entire alley -way
beginning at Lot 13 (southeast corner of the Nelson Hardware
Building) and extending to the east to Sheppard Street and the
southern half of the alley abutting Lots 9 and 10 and a portion
of Lot 8 (behind the Nelson Hardware Building).
The majority of the area under the proposed license will be
developed into a pedestrian plaza, a small portion will be used
in the construction of Building B (as described in plans
submitted to the City) and another small portion will contain
maintenance equipment and an electrical transformer.

SUBJECT: Council Agenda, June 12, 1986
ITEM: 11I - Consider a resolution authorizing the mayor to enter into
a License Agreement with Round Rock Partners concerning
the City Hall Complex Project.
The proposed City Hall Complex will require a portion of the alley between
Main St. & Bagdad to be closed to thru traffic so that a development may be
constructed on a portion of the alley.
This can be most easily accomplished through a license agreement with
Round Rock Partners.
A copy of the developers request is attached for your information.
