We checked with Austin Police Dept., and they charge $5.00 per copy of an accident report or an offense report for 2 pages and $1.00 per page for each additional page. Presently, we are providing clearance letters and fingerprinting without charge. Austin is charging $5.00 for a clearance letter and $5.00 for fingerprinting up to 4 cards and $1.00 for each additonal page. OFFENSE REPORTS - ACCIDENT REPORTS - CLEARANCE LETTERS FINGERPRINTING The time has come for us to raise our prices. We are proposing the follow- ing: $3.00 up to 2 Pages -$1.00 for each additional page. $3.00 up to 2 Pages -$1.00 for each additional page. $3.00 $3.00 for first 4 cards -$1.00 for each additional card. There has been a large increase in clearance letters and fingerprinting cards due to change in Immigration Laws. This has placed an added burden to our department, and we feel the charges are fair and are needed to off- set the cost of materials and manpower.
