Bond TASK force as a means of gathering citizen input regarding Capital Improvement programs for the City of Round Rock, and WHEREAS, the TASK force has heard the Citizens and the Staff recommendations, and from that information wishes to make recommendations to the City Council, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT The recommendation of the G.O. Bond TASK force is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas as a recommended guideline for a Capital Improvements Program for the funds designated by the Council. Bond Task Force is recommending the bond program presented by staff be adopted by Council. Please see the attached program and minutes of the meeting. G.O. BOND TASK FORCE MINUTES The G.O. Bond Task Force met on Tuesday, September 30, 1987 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. Those members present were Councilman Glenn T. King, Councilman Charles Culpepper, City Manager Bob Bennett, Tish Oatman, John L. Parker, Ken Johnson, Don Hamm, George Halstead, Jane McAdams, and Bride Roberts. Councilman Glenn King brought the meeting to order and discussed where the City stood with the Capital Improvements Program. City Manager Bennett gave an overview on the sources of funds that are available for the projects depicted on the attached sheet. There was some discussion among the task force members about the various projects. The biggest concern expressed during the meeting was the timing of the traffic light at the intersection of the proposed Deepwood Drive extension and Highway 620. The consensus of the task force was to recommend the program as presented by the staff to the City Council on Tuesday, October 6, 1987. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
