Dear Danny:
Per our telephone conversation last week regarding the Public Work Department's
proposed wastewater renovation project in South Park and Southern Terrace
Subdivisions, Espey, Huston & Associates, Inc., Round Rock Office is
pleased to present the following refined estimates for providing the
surveying services required for this project.
Our estimates are as follows:
Phase I
Part 1 - $2,450.00
Part 2 - $ 870.00
Phase II
Part 1 - $1,990.00
Part 2 - $ 700.00
TOTAL $6,010.00

EH&A Proposal No. 87-0276
As we discussed in our telephone conversation, the provision of easement
documents for any easements required is something we cannot, at this
point, quantify. Our initial estimates for this are based on providing
approximately seven "strip" easements along the route of the existing
wastewater lines. This estimate stems from our analysis of the recorded
plats and the assumption that, with the manholes remaining in place,
the reconstructed alignment would be very similar to existing conditions
and therefore, stay within dedicated easements. If, in fact, we would
be required to provide a separate easement for each lot along the new
alignment, our fee for providing new metes and bounds descriptions, would
be $50.00 per lot without an accompanying sketch and $75.00 per lot with
a sketch to accompany the written description.

SUBJECT: Council Agenda, April 9, 1987
ITEM: 15E - Consider a resolutin authorizing the Mayor to
enter into a survey agreement with Espey Huston
and Associates for the South Park Sewer Line.
In order to provide the base information for the South
Park Sewer Line Project, certain surveying is required. Public
Works contacted 3 engineering /surveying firms for proposals.
Espey Huston was the selected proposal based on qualifications
and cost. Staff recommends contracting with Espey Huston for
all Phase I surveying with the option of Phase II if project funds
allow.
