service to the residents of the City of Round Rock. and
WHEREAS, to preserve ana protect the health, we fare, and
safety througn continued residential garbage collection service.
the Council of the City of Round Rock fina's that in order to
protect the health, welfare, and safety of the residents of the
City of Round Rock. the following actions must be taken. NOW
THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS
That any and all language in the contract authorized by the
Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas pursuant to Resolution
5218 on the i2th clay of May, I983. pertaining to commercial aria
industrial service units, tne City's responsibility for billing
and collecting those accounts and the percentage withholding
applicable to the City's cost of pilling, collection and
administration of commercial and industrial accounts shall oe
deleted from said contract.

execute an amendment to the garbage contract.
This contract amendment releases the cities 20% store of
the commercial collection reciepts to Round Rock Refuse Inc.
The annual impact of this amendment in foregone revenues is
approximately $28,00 per year.
