DATE: January 12, 1988
SUBJECT: Council Agenda, January 14, 1988
ITEM: 12C - Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter
into a contract with the Round Rock Independent
School District for tax collection.
STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Sam Huey
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Accept the contract as proposed.
ECONOMIC IMPACT: This contract is identical to last year's contract
except for the funding amount. The requested amount is $58,396,
an increase of $9,232. This increase is due mainly to the re-
location of the tax office to a new building at a cost of $12,158.
This should be a one time cost and the corresponding reduction
should be noted next year.
