This acquisition process was begun when the City initiated condemnation of property around "the rock ". This is in keeping with the City's Park Master Plan to provide public assess to our creeks. ECONOMIC IMPACT: The City has an opportunity to work with the private sector to make this portion of the historic district a viable center for commerce and tourism.
