R-88-1101 - 3/24/1988WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock desires to construct a new annex facility for the Round Rock Central Police Station, and WHEREAS, professional architectural services are required in connection with the design and construction of said facility, and WHEREAS, OPUS 3, Architects, has submitted a proposed agreement to provide architectural services, and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enter into said agreement with OPUS 3, Architects, Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to executed on behalf of the City, an agreement with OPUS 3, Architects, a copy of such agreement being attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes. The scope of services includes schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding and negotiations, construction observation is on an hourly basis as needed. The cost of this contract is $4,150.00. This proposal is based on site visits, meetings with yourself and the police chief and with additional input thru telephone conversations. It is our understanding that the City would like to construct a freestanding annex facility for evidence storage, vehicle searches, ammunition reloading, and workout room with restrooms. A fenced area will be included for bicycle storage. The facility is to be located to the rear of the existing police station. We propose to provide Architectural Services for this project for a professional fee of $ 4,150.00 plus construction observation.
