Contractor shall carry out the following activities in the target area
identified on the map in its 1985 Community Development application:
SECTION 1. WATER IMPROVEMENTS
Contractor shall construct and install six thousand twenty linear feet
(6,020') of eight inch (8 ") water main along Bagdad and West Main; two
thousand three hundred thirty linear feet (2,330') of eight inch (8 ") water
main from Greenlawn Blvd. to Austin Avenue. These activities shall benefit
one hundred fifty -one (151) persons, of which one hundred thirty -six (136) or
ninety -one percent (91 %) are of low to moderate income. Contractor shall use
the bid /contract process to complete these activities, utilizing One Hundred
Seven Thousand Six Hundred Fifty and no /100 Dollars ($107,650.00) of contract
funds and Eighty -Two Thousand three Hundred Seventy -one and no /100 Dollars
($82,371.00) of local funds.
SECTION 2. STREET AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
Contractor shall construct three thousand two hundred twenty -five linear feet
(3,225') of asphalt along East Main Street from Georgetown to Greenlawn Blvd.,
and one thousand one hundred twenty linear feet (1,120') of drainage concrete
channel along Circle Drive to Brushy Creek. These activities shall benefit
eighty -seven (87) persons, of which one hundred percent (100 %) are of low to
moderate income. Contractor shall use the bid /contract process to complete
these activities, utilizing Seventy -three Thousand Six Hundred Fifty and
no /100 Dollars ($73,650.00) of contract funds, and One Hundred Twenty -eight
Thousand Two Hundred Ninety -seven and no /100 Dollars ($128,297.00) of local
funds.
SECTION 3. ENGINEERING
Contractor shall utilize Forty -four Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty -nine and
no /100 Dollars ($44,739.00) of local funds to pay for all project- related
engineering services, including surveying, preliminary and design plans and
specifications and all interim and final inspections.
SECTION 4. ADMINISTRATION
Contractor shall utilize Eighteen Thousand Six Hundred Eighty -nine and no /100
Dollars ($18,689.00) of contract funds and Six Thousand Three Hundred Eleven
and no /100 Dollars ($6,311.00) of local funds to carry out all project
administration activities, including the costs associated with the required
program compliance and fiscal audit. It is further understood that any costs
