Round Rock, and
WHEREAS, Texas Nuclear would be an excellent addition to the
City, adding hundreds of new jobs to the local economy as well as
millions of dollars to the City's tax lease, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to encourage Texas Nuclear to
locate in Round Rock by waiving certain development and building
permit fees, Now Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
That in order to encourage Texas Nuclear to locate in Round
Rock, the following development and building fees are hereby waived:

fees for Texas Nuclear.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
The attached resolution provides for the waiving of certain
development fees in conjunction with the relocation of Texas
Nuclear to Round Rock.
The specific fees to be waived include:
Building Permit
Landscape
Road Improvement
Oversize
Inspection (Water /Wastewater)
Water Meter & deposit
Drainage
ECONOMIC IMPACT:
This relocation will establish 180 new jobs. The expected
increase in our tax base is $3,200,000 with personal
property valued at $4,800,000.
