R-89-1311 - 7/27/1989WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock desires to construct a 12" waterline on Highway 79, and WHEREAS, professional engineering services are required in connection with the construction of said waterline, and WHEREAS, Engineering and Management Association has submitted an engineering contract to provide said engineering services, and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enter into said contract with Engineering and Management Association, Now Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City a contract for engineering services with Engineering and Management Association regarding the 12" waterline on Highway 79, a copy of said contract being attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes. STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Jim Nuse STAFF RECOMMENDATION: E & MA, formerly Terra and Associates, has submitted a proposal for engineering services for a 12" waterline along Highway 79 from the Baptist Children's Home to Onion Creek. The Engineering budget is approximately $4,000.00. ECONOMIC IMPACT: This project will greatly improve our delivery system in the area and improve water pressures in Egger Acres.
