ATTEST: NE LAND, City Secretary C- RS09289B RESOLUTION NO. /3 L / Q- k-' MIKE ROBINSON, Mayor City of Round Rock DATE: September 25, 1989 SUBJECT: Council Agenda, September 28, 1989 ITEM: 11B. Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to participate with the State of Texas in a cooperative purchasing program. STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: STAFF RECOMMENDATION: David Kautz Adopt the resolution which gives the City the option to participate with the State of Texas in the cooperative bidding and purchasing of motor vehicles. This program has been succesfully utilized in the past by the City and has saved thousands of dollars. This action does not obligate the City but provides the opportunity to participate should we desire to do so. If we elect to participate in this program we can expect to receive the economic benefit associated with the State's bidding of larger quantities.
