Two copies of the agreement for participation of the City of Round Rock in
construction of sidewalks included in the referenced project are enclosed.
Both copies should be properly executed and return to this office. In the
event changes are desired in the agreement, the undersigned should be con-
tacted prior to making such changes. After the agreement has been executed
by the State, a duplicate original will be furnished the City.
A warrant for the amount shown in the agreement and made payable to "State
Department of Highways and Public Transportation" should be forwarded to
this office with return of the agreement.
Your prompt processing of this agreement will be appreciated as this project
is tentatively scheduled to receipt of bids in /September, 1990.

WHEREAS, the City desires the construction of sidewalks and
incidental items on Loop 384 from Brushy Creek north to old Settlers
Blvd., and
WHEREAS, the State of Texas, by and through its State Highway and
Public Transportation Commission will provide such construction in
exchange for a contribution from the City of $2,870.00, and
WHEREAS, an Agreement has been prepared providing for such
construction and contribution, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to approve said Agreement, Now
Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on
behalf of the City an Agreement with the State Highway and Public
Transportation Commission for the construction of sidewalks as
described above.

The attached resolution confirms our willingness to participate with
District 14 of the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation
in the cost of reconstructing Loop 384. Our portion of the cost provides for
the construction of sidewalks.

THIS AGREEMENT, made this a day of august' , 1990, by
and between the City of Round Rock, Texas, hereinafter called the
"City ", Party of the First Part, acting by and through its City
Council and the State of Texas, hereinafter called the "State ", Party
of the Second Part, acting by and through its State Highway and Public
Transportation Commission.
WHEREAS, the City desires the construction of sidewalk and
incidental items within the limits from south of Brushy Creek to Old
Settlers Boulevard on Loop 384 and the State will, among other things,
provide for the construction of this work within these limits and the
City will contribute a fixed amount of Two Thousand Eight Hundred
Seventy and No /100 Dollars ($2,870.00), in payment for their portion
of this work.
NOW THEREFORE, it is understood that this proposed work will be
constructed by the State and the City will transmit to the State with
the return of this agreement, executed by the City, a warrant or check
made payable to the State Department of Highways and Public
Transportation in the amount of Two Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy and
No /100 Dollars ($2,870.00). It is further understood that the State
will construct only those items for the City as requested and it is
further understood that the contribution of Two Thousand Eight Hundred
Seventy and No /100 Dollars ($2,870.00), by the City shall be a fixed
amount for their share of the work.
