Technical Committee Mayor & Council Members: JMB:ek As you know, I have represented the City of Round Rock on the referenced technical committee for approximately five (5) years. I have enjoyed serving on this appointment; however, it appears that this might be an appropriate time to resign my appointment. Construction of proposed regional wastewater improvements appear to be on an indefinite hold and future meetings will most likely involve contractual matters. In addition, I have become extremely active with the Chamber of Commerce which is taking a lot of my time. Please accept my resignation to the Brushy Creek W.C. & I.D. Technical Committee. Thank you for the opportunity to be of service to the City of Round Rock. 9111 Jollyville Rd., Suite 107 • Austin, Texas 76759 • 512/346 -6960 • FAX 512/346 -7072 DATE: January 8, 1991 SUBJECT: City Council Meeting, January 10, 1991 ITEM: 13L. Consider a resolution designating a representative to the Regional Sewer Technical Review Committee. STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Bob Bennett STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Mr. Joe Baker has submitted his resignation from the Regional Sewer Technical Committee after over five (5) years of service. During this time Mr. Baker spent many hours volunteering his technical expertise for the protection of the City's surface and groundwater supplies. Since the project is in an indefinite hold and the next phase of the project will include mainly contract negotiations, I recommend that Steve Sheets be named as Mr. Bakers replacement. Mr. Sheets will be present for the upcoming contract negotiations. Al Wille, who serves as the City's alternate representative, would be available to serve during routine matters.
