R-91-1566 - 2/14/1991RESOLUTION NO. / WHEREAS, the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation (SDHPT) is preparing to undertake improvements to Loop 384 (also known as Business Loop 35) from south of Brushy Creek to Old Settlers Blvd., and WHEREAS, regulations require that ten percent (10 %) of any additional right -of -way and /or utility adjustments be funded by the City, and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept such responsibility to assure completion of the necessary roadway improvements, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, That the City of Round Rock hereby accepts responsibility for ten percent (10 %) of right -of -way acquisition and utility adjustments as maybe required in connection with a SDHPT project for the improvement of Loop 384 (also known as Business Loop 35) from south of Brushy Creek to Old Settlers Blvd., and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the acquisition procedures and utility adjustments will be in accordance with the applicable Federal and State laws and the policies of the SDHPT. STAFF RESOURCEPERSON: Joe Vining This resolution commits the City to 10% of the cost of right -of -way acquisition and utility adjustments required as part of the Loop 384 (Business Loop 35) improvements from south of Brushy Creek to Old Settlers Boulevard. The estimated cost to the City is seven hundred dollars.
