WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock has duly advertised for and
received proposals for the installation of asphalt for the hike and
bike trail in Old Settlers Park at Palm Valley, and
WHEREAS, Halliburton Excavation, Inc. has submitted the most
favorable proposal, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the proposal of
Halliburton Excavation, Inc., Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
That the proposal of Halliburton Excavation, Inc. is hereby
accepted as the most favorable proposal, and the Mayor is hereby
authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City a contract
with Halliburton Excavation, Inc. for the installation of asphalt for
the hike and bike trail in Old Settlers Park at Palm Valley, a copy of
said contract is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all
purposes.
RESOLVED this 28th day of March, 1991.

The Parks and Recreation Department shall be responsible
for the following items:
1. Trail excavation to 4-6" depth.
2. Removing excess dirt.
3. Hauling base material to the trail site.
The contractor cannot start before April 8, 1991 and must
complete the project by April 19, 1991.
