SUBJECT: City Council Meeting, April 11, 1991.
ITEM: 9D. Consider a resolution authorizing the purchase of a One
Ton Truck.
STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Jim Nuse
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
On March 28, 1991 one bid was received for a used 1 ton winch truck. Two bid
packages were picked up but only 1 submittal was received. The truck has been
thoroughly inspected by Joe Rendon, Shop Foreman. This vehicle is a special propose
unit capable of lifting heavy valves, hydrants and meters. It will replace a $12,000 truck
which was in this year's budget. Staff recommends acceptance.
