Re: Planned Unit Development No. 4 Wastewater Service
Thank you for your interest in Austin Surveyors in
requesting proposals for the above named project.
The proposal is as follows:
Item I - Property Map
Item II - Location and Cross - Section Survey
I have estimated 30 +/- tracts to be researched and mapped at
a cost of $100.00 per tract.
Total cost for Item I $3000.00
All items would be located per your request and all base
lines will be monumented with either rail road spikes or
1/2" iron pins. We would provide work sketches (roller ball
computer plots) and coordinate list with point numbers,'
elevations and point descriptions. The sketches would be at
a scale of 1 " =50'.
The final plan and profile sheets (5) would contain all
information requested and a tree list, legend and other
pertinent data would be on each sheet. An overall project
sheet would be provided at a scale of 1" =200' which would
show the sheet layout and limited survey information such as
pavement, drives and adjacent properties.
Total cost for Item II $4865.00
Total project cost not to exceed $7865.00
Page 2
Since
At a slight addition charge we can vary the work sketch plot
to show any combination of data for the points located and
in different colors for easier identification.
Inclosed is a sample plot of a street cross section with
various data that can be shown. It is intense in areas but
you can get an idea of the capabilities.
I assume the City of Round Rock will provide the necessary
permission to survey on the properties not in public right
of ways.
If you have any questions please give Skip or myself a call
at 454 -6605.

SUBJECT: City Council Meeting, May 27, 1991
ITEM: 9F. Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an
agreement for professional services with Coalter and
Associates.
STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Jim Nuse
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
The City received three proposals for surveying work for offsite utilities from the
Franklin Tract. This work is being done as part of the offsite water construction project done
last year. The survey will be used to locate a sewer line as well as a graywater line to be used
to water the golf course. Coalter Surveying was the lowest and best quote and staff recommends
acceptance.
