R-91-1637 - 8/8/1991WHEREAS, the Ron Sproull Memorial Fund was created to provide certain improvements to the park system in the City of Round Rock, and WHEREAS, in accordance with the terms of the Fund, the City desires to make certain electrical, landscaping and other repairs within city parks, Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, That the City Council hereby authorizes the interest income from the Ron Sproall Memorial Fund be - utilized to make electrical, landscaping and other repairs with the city park system. Consider a resolution authorizing interest income to be spent out of the Ron Sproull Memorial Fund. STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Sharon Prete STAFF RECOMMENDATION: ECONOMIC IMPACT: Certain damages occurred to Round Rock Memorial Park during IH -35 construction. The Parks and Recreation Department proposes to make these and other repairs so that the park is fully operational again. Attached is the budget which outlines the expenditures. Per the establishment of the fund, the principle is intact and interest income will be used to finance the proposed projects.
