STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Joanne Land
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
A recent Supreme Court of Texas decision rules that a City may post
official notices on official bulletin boards located outside of
City Hall. This is currently being followed plus additional
postings on the west window of the Council Chamber. This
resolution officially names the outside west bulletin board as the
official posting location in accordance with state law.
Notices will not need to be placed on the west window if Council
approves the resolution.
Staff recommends approval.
