ITEM: 10H. Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter
into a contract for computerized video simulator
system.
This is a firearms training system that will be supplied to the
Police Department two times a year for four days each time for a
total of 8 training days. This system will enable every officer to
receive proper training and is fully computerized. Each officer
will be trained under stressful conditions and graded on his /her
performance. This is important to the City because it will provide
the training necessary in the use of force.
