( "Lomas ") is the owner of the property located within the boundaries of the Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 9 ( "MUD #9 "), and WHEREAS, Lomas (formerly known as L & N Land Corp.) has entered into various agreements with the City respecting the development of MUD #9, and WHEREAS, Lomas proposes to sell MUD #9 to Vista Development, Inc., ( "Vista "), and WHEREAS, Lomas wishes to assign its rights, title and interest in said agreements to Vista, and WHEREAS, Lomas and Vista have requested the City to acknowledge its consent to the assignment, Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City an acknowledgment and consent to the assignment from Lomas to Vista. STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Steve Sheets STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Lomas Land, Inc. is proposing to sell its interest in MUD #9 (Vista Oaks) to Vista Development, Inc. As part of the sale, Lomas is assigning to Vista its rights and obligations in several development agreements. This resolution acknowledges that the City gives its consent to the assignment.
