Dear Council Members:
The Round Rock Chamber of Commerce has traditionally sponsored the
Frontier Days events in downtown Round Rock. The local civic clubs and
organizations which operate the food, drink and game booths make every
effort to insure that the location of their booths do not interfere with
traffic or emergency vehicles.
We would like the city to permit the Chamber of Commerce the use of the
downtown streets and sidewalks for the booths and exhibits from Friday
evening, July 10th through 1:00 a.m. Sunday, July 12th. This includes an
area from Mays to Sheppard Streets and Bagdad to Liberty Streets. The
Chamber will assign booth space and be able to control booth activities.
We will begin closing the streets at 5:00 p.m. on Friday night and they will
remain closed until after the street dance on Saturday night. At the
conclusion of the street dance the streets will be re opened and cleaned.
Sincerely, Raz,k,
•
