DATE: May 25, 1993
SUBJECT: City Council Agenda, May 27, 1993
ITEM: 10D. Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into
a contract with the Round Rock Leader for publication of
official City notices.
STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Joanne Land
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: As mandated by the City Charter, the Council, once a
year, must designate an official publication of general circulation for all
official City notices. The ROUND ROCK LEADER has been the official
"newspaper" for the City for many years and has always done an excellent job.
The rates will be 20 cents per word for the first insertion and 18 cents
per word for repeat insertions. Maps and drawings will be charged at $5.65 a
column inch.
Staff recommends that the Council award the publication contract to the
ROUND ROCK LEADER.
