Whereas, The City of Round Rock has previously agreed to seek an
infrastructure grant from the Texas Capital Fund, and
Whereas, the pre - application for this grant has been prepared, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS,
SECTION 1.
The City of Round Rock has committed to spend $500,000 on infrastructure
improvements. The funds are available at this time and there is no expiration date
for the use of such funds.
SECTION 2.
The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to act on the City's behalf in all
matters pertaining to this application and, if granted, the award.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, held on August 26, 1993.

application for the Texas Capital Fund on behalf of Dell
Computer Corporation.

RECOMMENDATION: Approval
Staff has been working with representatives of the Texas Department of Commerce
and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs to complete the Pre -
Application for the Infrastructure Grant on behalf of Dell computer Corporation.
The grant is intended to provide necessary infrastructure improvements in
exchange for the commitment by Dell to provide a number of jobs that fit the States
criteria for low to moderate income families.
The attached resolution authorizes the Mayor to sign the submittal documents.
After a review period of approximately thirty (30) days, we will be notified of any
required changes. A final application will then be prepared along with the necessary
contract documents.
