This request is a result of District 14 studies regarding a pending curb cut request from the Oak Hollow Subdivision. This request was presented to the Planning and Zoning Commission on September 1, 1994. The Commission recommended that TxDOT provide left turn lanes at certain intersections as soon as possible, and that the reduction of F.M. 3406 from 4 lanes to 3 lanes, for a period not to exceed 5 years, is implemented as a final option and only as a short term solution.
