Consider a resolution awarding a bid for the purchase of two riding mowers for the Parks and Recreation Department. STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Sharon Prete STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approval Three bids were received and opened on May 2, 1995 at 2:00 p.m. for riding lawn mowers. ECONOMIC IMPACT: Ford Austin Ford Tractor $12,054.00 John Deer Premier Equipment Co. 10,900.00 Toro Goldthwaites 9,690.00 Staff recommends that the bid be awarded to Goldthwaites in the amount of $19,380.00 for 2 Toro Groundmaster 325 -D mowers. Funds were budgeted in the 94 -95 General Fund Budget. These mowers will replace mowers that are 10 and 13 years old and are no longer cost effective to repair.
