ATTEST: 001 ALAI' ak 1 KS /RESOLUTION RS50622C LAND, City Secretary CHARLES CU .`•ER, Mayor City of Roun• Rock, Texas Date: June 20, 1995 Subject: City Council Meeting, June 22, 1995 Item: 10 C: Consider a resolution rejecting the bid for the purchase of Police Body Armor. Staff Resource: Lt. Bryan Leath Staff Recommendation: After careful consideration of tbg previously awarded bid, it appears that the specifications of the bid were written with too narrow a scope, therefore eliminating a majority of reputable body armor manufacturers. And the bid accepted did not meet the original specifications as written. It is the staff's recommendation that the specifications be re -written and that the city should go back out for bids.
