R 95 10 24 - 11B WHEREAS, the Downtown Business Association of Round Rock has requested that a portion of Lampasas from Main Street north to the alley, situated between Lampasas and Austin Street, be closed from 10:00 o'clock a.m. until 5:00 o'clock p.m. on November 18, 1995 for the Downtown Business Association Chocolate Affair, and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to grant such request, Now Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, That a portion of Lampasas from Main Street north to the alley, situated between Lampasas and Austin Street, be closed as set forth above. Consider a resolution authorizing the closing of a portion of Lampasas Street for the Downtown Business Association Chocolate Affair. STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Bob Bennett STAFF RECOMMENDATION: The Downtown Business Association would like to hold the Chocolate Affair on November 17 and 18, 1995. The Fire and Police Departments have been contacted and have no problem with the street closing. Ruth Koughan will be at the meeting to make this request. Please see the attached map for the exact location of the street to be closed. Staff recommends approval.
