R-96-06-27-10E - 6/27/1996WHEREAS, Central Baptist Church is in the process of constructing storm water drainage facilities for development of its site, and WHEREAS, the City wishes to oversize the facilities in order to provided needed drainage capacity for the general area, and WHEREAS, the cost of said oversizing is $76,437.00, which cost the Council wishes to approve, Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL O THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, That the City Council hereby authorizes the expenditure of $76,437.00 to oversize the storm water drainage facilities being constructed by the Central Baptist Church. Consider a resolution concerning Central Baptist Church off -site drainage improvements. STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Jim Nuse STAFF RECOMMENDATION: The Central Baptist Church is expanding. As part of this expansion, some off-site drainage improvements are required. Staff proposes that these improvements be oversized in order to accommodate future use in the area as well as improve existing condition in the Little Oaks subdivision. The amount of contribution from the City Regional Detention fund would be $76,437. Staff recommends participating in the project.
