Dear Sir:
Several businesses in Historic Downtown Round Rock have joined
Home Town Designs in our second annual production of
"Marilyn Monroe's Birthday Party"
The event has grown so large we cannot stage it in our shop but
must ask that the City allow us to barricade the one block of
Lampasas between Liberty and Main Street on Saturday, June 7,
from 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM.
A map is enclosed as are fliers listing all of the activities
and the organizations and merchants involved.
I have spoken with Police Chief Kuhlmann and with Fire Chief
Bizzell and have been assured by each that blockading Lampasas
on that date would present no problem to either of their concerns.
Please schedule this request for the City Council's consideration.
Sincerely,
Jan Tate and Joann Enoch
