Dear Mr.Bennett,
This letter is to request permission from the City Council to close Horseshoe Circle,in
the Creek Bend sub-division,for a neighborhood block party to be held on April 26,1998
from 1:OOpm to 5.00pm. According to the guidelines 1 received for requesting this
permission,I have had conversations with the Round Rock Police and Fire Departments
and collected signatures from my neighbors accepting the plan to block the street for a
block party at the time above.
Rosie Diaz at the Round Rock Fire Department informed me that Fire Inspector Mark
Selby had no objection to blocking the street as long as we would clear any obstruction to
emergency vehicles,if needed. At the Round Rock Police Department,I spoke with
Chief of Police Raymond Kuhlmann. Chief Kuhlmann was also supportive of the
request, stating that he did not have any problem with this plan.
Please contact me if there is anything else I should do to support the approval of this
request. I can be reached at the above phone number. Thanks for you support in
considering this request
Sincerely,
. "'-1115
