The Round Rock City Council approved Resolution No. R- 99- 01- 14 -14A4
at their regularly scheduled meeting on January 14, 1999. This resolution
approves Change Order No. 1 with C.C. Carlton Construction of Austin,
Inc. for the construction of a reclaimed wastewater effluent line from the
East Wastewater Treatment Plant to the Forest Creek Golf Course.

WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock has previously entered into
a contract ( "Contract ") with C.C. Carlton Construction of Austin,
Inc. for the construction of a reclaimed wastewater effluent line
from the East Wastewater Treatment Plant to the Forest Creek Golf
Course, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is necessary to
change said Contract in accordance with the attached Contract
Change Order No. 1, Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on
behalf of the City Contract Change Order No. 1 to the Contract with
C.C. Carlton Construction of Austin, Inc. for the construction of
a reclaimed wastewater effluent line from the East Wastewater
Treatment Plant to the Forest Creek Golf Course.
The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice
of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this
Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to
the public as required by law at all times during which this
Resolution and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered
and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act,
Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as arcyended, and the Act.

Forest Creek Effluent Transmission Main Project -
Dear Mr. Miller:
Enclosed are four copies of Change Order No. 1 for the Forest Creek Effluent Transmission Main
Project. The Change Order has been executed by C.C. Carlton Construction Company.
Major changes included in the Change Order are described below.
The Change Order involves a $1,405 increase in contract amount. The changes associated with
the valve vault improve the project, and we recommend approval of the change order.
Following execution by the City, please transmit two copies to the Contractor, and one copy to
our office.
Call if you have questions. We appreciate having the opportunity to provide services on this
project.

Improvements in and around the valve vault near the golf course pond that are
designed to minimize the potential for water entering and being retained in the vault.
Improvements include the addition of a sump pump system in the vault, extension of
a storm drain pipe adjacent to the vault, and construction of a head wall on the
extended storm drain line.
A reduction in the quantity of erosion and sedimentation control facilities included in
the project.
