I am pleased to submit the following proposal for A/E Services for the evaluation of existing and
planned facilities for the City of Round Rock.
1. General Building and Site Analysis, approximately 10 sites:
General evaluation of existing sites and buildings with regards to current size and physical
condition of major systems; site access and parking; available utilities; suitability for potential
expansion; adjacent zoning/use impact; other issues as applicable. Particular attention will
be paid to former yard site on McNeil Road and potential adjacent property acquisition.
2. Needs Assessmentfor various City Departments including Administration, Legal Planning,
Data Processing, Finance, Human Resources, Municipal Courts, Public Works, Police, Fire:
Assess current space needs and make projections for future growth in 5, 10 and 20 year
increments. These projections would be based on reasonable assumptions of futu a growth
as an extension of past performance. The needs assessment would also function as the
program for space planning for the immediate or near future term.
3. Recommendation and Report:
Assemble data from 1 and 2 above into booklet format. Recommendations will address
immediate and longer term potential solutions to space needs identified in the report.
Information would be presented in tabular and graphic form, along with introductory
narratives. issues which are beyond the scope of the report, such as departmental
restructuring or space planning, will be identified for further study.
