Dear Mayor and City Council Members:
The Oak Bluff Home Owners Association Social Committee respectfully requests
approval for our 1999 Independence Day parade.
The parade is scheduled for Saturday, July 3, 1999, at 10:30 a.m. We will begin
decorating bikes, strollers, etc., at 10:15 a.m. Motor vehicles will not be allowed. We
will begin the parade at the intersection of Twin Ridge Parkway and the north entrance of
Meadow Run. We will continue up the southbound side of Twin Ridge Parkway and end
at the intersection of Twin Ridge and Misty Woods. We will serve refreshments in the
cul- de-sac of Misty Woods.
The parade route is approximately one -half mile and should take 10 to 15 minutes. This
year's parade route is identical to the Independence Day parade routes of the previous
years.
At this time, I am still trying to coordinate the parade with the Round Rock Police
Department. I anticipate all the arrangements will be made by the time of the City
Council meeting. I have scheduled the parade with the Round Rock Fire Department. A
truck will head the parade.
Thank you for your consideration of this request. If you have any questions, please
contact me at 218 -4427.
Respectfully,
Tema Kam fe
