I propose coordination, planning and implementation of activities relating to issues involving the city including, but not limited to: major transportation and infrastructure projects, water and wastewater matters, and regulatory matters. My services will include the following: • Communications with federal, state & local elected officials, regulatory personnel, and other individuals and associations as directed. • Plan and coordinate and execute meetings and events. • Plan and implement media strategies. • Monitor appropriate state and federal agency commission meetings. • Attend and participate in state interim committee meetings as directed. • And other services at the direction of the city manager and/or the mayor. I will provide the above described services for $3,000 per month, plus expenses *. I will issue a monthly statement to the City. This contract shall begin on July 1, 1999 and terminate on July 31, 2000. In the event either party desires to terminate this agreement, said party shall issue a two week notice in writing. "Expenses shall include costs for printing, copying, long distance charges, travel and costs, etc., directly associated with projects. Singular expenses in excess of $200 shall be approved in advance.
