The Round Rock Public Library meets the qualification guidelines stated in the Request for Proposal in that we have: T -I interconnectivity for the general public • We already have our catalog accessible through the web • We are able to provide the 10% cash match •:• We are obviously able to assume ongoing telecommunication costs (this grant will not increase our costs unless we decide to put in a second T -1 line and pull away from the city-based line) We have been a previous grant recipient (LB 1) and understand how the grant management process works. We have non - profit groups (Senior Net and the Literacy Council of Williamson County) and others in the city organization interested in setting up a learning lab, which may also incorporate, distance education options. Our library completed TIFTech Training in 1998/1999. My library does not intend.to participate in future TIFTech Training unless the training addresses distance education.
