R-2015-2591 - 6/11/2015 RESOLUTION NO. R-2015-2591 WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Justice has grant funds available to cities for various law enforcement projects, and WHEREAS, grant funds are available through the Office of Justice Programs Bureau of Justice Assistance under BJA-2015-4168, Body-Worn Camera Pilot Implementation Program,and WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock wishes to make application for the available funds for the implementation of body-worn cameras for Round Rock Police Officers, and WHEREAS, the City Council designates the City Manager as the City's authorized official with power to apply for the grant, including making an online application, on behalf of the applicant agency, the City of Round Rock, Texas, and BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, That the City Manager is designated as the authorized official apply for the grant, including making an online application, and is hereby directed to apply for Body-Worn Camera Pilot Implementation Program BJA-2015-4168, Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) FY2015 Competitive Grant.
