The project includes the demolition of existing park amenities and construction of a new playground, trail segment, park pavilion, rest room building, and site furnishings (picnic tables, grills, benches, and trash receptacles). This project was identified in Year 3 of the PARD Repair and Replacement Program. Staff met with the neighborhood twice over the past year to gather input on the park master plan and improvement plan. The final improvement plan presented to the neighborhood received positive feedback and the neighborhood was excited to see the redevelopment efforts. Staff recommends approval of this item.
