FOX 7 PROJECT AGREEMENT
PROJECT: July 4th Frontier Days Celebration
DATE: July 4, 2006
ORGANIZATION: City of Round Rock, Texas
FOX 7 AGREES TO DO THE FOLLOWING:
(1) Produce a 30 -second public service announcement promoting the July 4th Frontier Days
Celebration.
FOX 7 Production contribution $2,000
(2) Air the 30 -second public service announcement or equivalent number of 15 -second PSA's a
minimum of two times per day from June 3 through July 4, 2006.
FOX 7 Advertising contribution $25,600
(3) If possible, provide news coverage of the Parade and Frontier Days Celebration on July 4th.
FOX 7 News contribution $6,000
(4) If possible, provide a City of Round Rock representative with an interview on the FOX 7 morning
report to discuss the event.
FOX 7 News contribution $5,000
(5) Include the campaign on FOX 7 web site.
Fox 7 Promotion contribution $1,500
TOTAL CONTRIBUTION $40,100
THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK AGREES TO DO THE FOLLOWING:
(1) Provide FOX 7 with exclusive television sponsorship of the event.
(2) Hang and prominently display FOX 7 signage in Old Settlers Park, provided that FOX 7
timely provides all signage.
(3) Provide FOX 7 logo placement on all print materials related to the event, provided that FOX 7
timely provides all necessary graphics.
(4) Include mention of FOX 7 in all media related to the event.
(5) Include FOX 7 logo in the Newsflash insert in Round Rock utility bills and on Round Rock
News emails and announcements, provided that FOX 7 timely provides all necessary graphics.
(6) Provide FOX 7 with a booth to use for station and/or non -conflicting sponsors.
(7) Provide an opportunity for a FOX 7 news personality to speak at an event at Old Settlers
Park.

(8) Mention and give logo placement in the two -minute commercial run on Channel 10 throughout
the month of June 2006, provided that all FOX 7 logo materials are timely provided by FOX 7.
(9) Provide web site link(s) to FOX 7.
(10) Include two (2) FOX 7 vehicles in the parade.
(11) Mention FOX 7 in all related radio ads on KVET and KASE.
(12) Mention FOX 7 prior to the evening festivities.
(13) Provide FOX 7 an opportunity to approve all materials where the FOX 7 logo or name will be
placed before such materials go to print, and such approval by FOX 7 shall be timely and
shall not be unreasonably withheld.
(14) Hold FOX 7 KTBC harmless from any loss, damage, cost or expense attributed solely to
negligence, willful misconduct or misrepresentation by the City, its officials, employees or
agents.
This agreement duly executed by all necessary parties hereto on the date last indicated hereon.

SUBJECT: Fox 7 News Project Agreement
ITEM: Signature required to confirm partnership between Round Rock
Parks and Recreation's July 4 Frontier Days Celebration and Fox 7 News to
include free promotional advertising on Fox 7 and advertising for the city of
Round Rock in return for Fox 7 News being the official media partner, once
again, with this celebration. Terms of sponsorship - Fox 7 will provide free
advertising and public service announcements and news coverage. City of
Round Rock will allow Fox 7 to be onsite for coverage, in the Frontier Days
Parade, and involved in signage and promotion of the event.

Justification: In return for free advertising on Fox 7 and news coverage,
the Round Rock Parks and Recreation department will make Fox 7 media
sponsor of the event.

Background Information:
We have worked with Fox 7 with the July 4 Frontier Days Celebration in the
past. They cover the event on their morning show
the day of the event and provide media coverage of
the entire festivities which greatly helps us advertise
this event to out-of-town guests.
