SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 2
FIRM: K.A. HICKMAN ARCHITECTS & INTERIOR DESIGNERS ("Architect")
ADDRESS: 1517 East Palm Valley Boulevard, Round Rock, Texas 78664
PROJECT: Round Rock Fire Station #7
This Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to "Standard Form of Agreement between Owner
and Architect with Standard Form of Architect's Services" and its accompanying "Supplemental
Agreement No. 1" is made by and between the City of Round Rock, Texas, hereinafter called the
"City" and K.A. Hickman Architects & Interior Designers, hereinafter called the "Architect."
WHEREAS, the City and Architect executed the referenced Agreement, hereinafter
called the "Agreement," on the 14th day of July, 2005 for the project known as Round Rock Fire
Station #7, for the sum of $122,450.00; and also simultaneously executed the referenced
Supplemental Agreement No. 1; and
WHEREAS, because of additional re -design services requested by the City, it has
become necessary to amend the Agreement to modify the provisions for the Architect's scope of
services and to increase the compensation by $18,508.75; and
NOW THEREFORE, premises considered, the City and the Architect agree that said
Agreement is amended as follows:
I.
Section 1.1.2.5 of the Agreement relating to Construction Documents Phase, and Article
VI, Section 6.01(I)(c) of the Supplemental Agreement No. 1 relating to Construction Document
Phase shall be amended by increasing the sum shown as $48,980.00 to the sum of $67,488.75.
II.
The attached Exhibit "A" delineates the increased re -design services required to be added
to the scope of services.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City and the Architect have executed this Supplemental
Agreement in duplicate.

Plans were revised during value engineering negotiations with Chasco
Constructors on price of Fire Station No. 7. The original floor plans were
reconfigured reducing square footage at a savings of $50,533.00. This
agreement covers architect and engineering costs to revise plans.
