The grant program outlined in this contract is effective from the date the contract is fully executed until July 31, 2007.
III. STATEMENT OF SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (the Foundation) is providing grant funds for libraries hosting training workshops for
eligible librarians in Texas. These funds have been made available from the Foundation under the OCLC WebJunction Rural
Library Sustainability program, which is being administered in Texas by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission
(TSLAC).
The Grantee acknowledges that the purpose of the Rural Library Sustainability program is to provide small and rural libraries with
the tools, skills, and resources necessary to better maintain and sustain their public access computing programs. Eligible host
libraries have been designated to receive grant funding for hosting the Rural Library Sustainability program workshop at Round
Rock Public Library System.
IV GRANT AMOUNTS AND DISBURSEMENT REQUIREMENTS
Per grant guidelines, the Grantee is eligible for funds to host a Rural Library Sustainability program workshop. Grantee will receive
5100.00.
Source of funds: TSLAC Gates Foundation Rural Library Susta.inabflity Grant, State FY 2007
Payment for this grant will be funded in full upon receipt of the signed contract. Grantee will also be provided the number of
participants for the workshop.
Funds must be used to cover the costs of refreshments for BOTH morning and afternoon for this full day workshop. All funds must
be used by the grantee to cover the costs of hosting the workshop, including but not limited to, delivery of goods (catering), staff
time, room setup, materials for the workshop (such as copies), or equipment rental.
