Subject: Non -Binding Letter of Intent
Mr. Musick,
This letter is to communicate the City of Round Rock's non-binding intent to purchase the
following items off HGAC Contract:
• Watson Dispatch Synergy Consoles referenced in Quote ID Q15138-00 in the
amount of $75,025.43;
• Watson Dispatch Reconfiguration Parts and Replacement Tops referenced in
Quote ID 15146-00 in the amount of $1.3,109.06.
This letter is being issued with the expectation of Watson Furniture being available as a
cooperative vendor through HGAC, effective July 1, 2007. If all contractual agreements
between Watson Furniture and HGAC relative to the intended purchases are established
and available as cooperative purchases by the City of Round Rock, our intent is to issue
purchase orders to Watson Dispatch on July 1, 2007 reflecting the City's commitment to
purchases specified above.
Should Watson Furniture not be entered into contract with HGAC by the aforementioned
effective date, this letter may be rendered null and void at the sole discretion of the City
of Round Rock.

SUBJECT: Non -Binding Letter of Intent to Watson Dispatch
ITEM:
This letter is a non-binding letter to inform Watson Dispatch that
the City of Round Rock intends to purchase through HGAC
dispatch consoles and items to refurbish existing consoles out of
the funding for the new police headquarters building project.

Justification:
This letter, developed in consultation with the City
Purchasing Department, allows the City to get its order in
to the company as quickly as possible as Watson Dispatch
completed the process to become a HGAC vendor in
sufficient time to get the items delivered to keep the new
building/digital radio projects moving in synch. The letter
allows the City to nullify the letter at its sole discretion.

Background
Information:
The new building project includes the purchase of new
dispatch consoles and the refurbishing of existing consoles.
The Department uses Watson Dispatch consoles, and the
company expects its application to become a vendor on
the Houston Greater Area Council of Governments
purchasing cooperative to become complete on July 1.
